This week on Dining with Dana, special guest Sara Taylor shares her journey from a bustling city to a quiet suburb, finding solace in knitting and the importance of community. We also hear about her unexpected pregnancy and the sudden end of her marriage. But a chance dinner party changes everything, showing them the power of intimate conversation and its impact on a person. Join us for an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you inspired and craving a homemade Gin Tonic.
Sara Taylor wants you to embrace what beauty means to you. The Orlando native is the creator of Pinkie Orlando, a progressive beauty studio in Audubon Park. Sara left the corporate world in 2019 to build a better work-life balance for herself and her two girls. A single mom, she was raised in the beauty industry but felt the exploitative conditions and expected societal norms needed to be upended for both artists and clients. Since then, she’s grown Pinkie from a dining-room-table startup to a thriving, safe space for personal expression.
