Hank Hanegraaff, host of the Bible Answer Man broadcast and the Hank Unplugged podcast, reflects on the difficult-to-imagine reality that on Friday (September 24, 2021), “House Democrats united behind legislation [H.R. 3755]…enshrining in federal law a virtually unlimited right to kill a baby through all nine months of pregnancy” (National Review). The naturalist philosopher John Stuart Mill—a religious skeptic— said, “Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing.” In this regard, think of the words of King Solomon: “My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent. If they say, ‘Come with us, Let us lie in wait for blood, Let us ambush the innocent without cause’….My son, do not walk in the way with them. Keep your feet from their path, For their feet run to evil And they hasten to shed blood” (Proverbs 1:10–11, 15–16 NASB).
