Then Bob Hope, originally broadcast May 3, 1949, 75 years ago with guest Lucille Ball. The first show of the season. Bob Hope's Swan's Eye View Of The News. Mail two Swan wrappers to CARE and Lever Brothers will send one cake of soap to European children. Doris Day sings, "Time You Were Here." Bob and Lucille appear in a hillbilly skit. 

Followed by Amos ‘n’ Andy, originally broadcast May 3, 1953, 71 years ago, Stock Market Tip. Andy and The Kingfish have a hot tip on "United Consolidated" stock, but there are six companies with that name!

Then Fred Allen, originally broadcast May 3, 1942, 82 years ago, The Freak Show Murder.   Falstaff Openshaw recites. The cast does "The Great Side Show Mystery," as solved by "One Long Pan."  

Finally Claudia, originally broadcast May 3, 1948, 76 years ago, Mama Takes the Train.   Claudia and Mama are driving to the station, Mama is leaving to stay with Aunt Louisa.
