“The Gnostic Gospels were a deeper teaching, more even some would say a secret teaching of Jesus. Jesus was like a freaking Zen master in these books. He spoke in allegorical stories. The stories are much like fairy tales that have a really deep meaning.”
I was raised Christian, but I don't identify as Christian for many reasons. Shanna Vavra explains why I've been so resistant to it AND why what we've been taught is not the truth. In fact, it's a case for finding nuggets of truth in all religions. This is an absolutely fascinating interview!
