We speak often of the leadership of Christ and refer to Him just as often as "Shepherd", but in these days and in the places where modern life is lived, it is rare indeed that we ever see a shepherd, must less understand what he does, or how.
Scripture gives us glimpses of the Shepherd, then paints a picture of not only the function, but the purpose of the "Good" Shepherd. What makes Him the "Good" [Shepherd]?
It's you and me, and who He leads us to and through.
