About CharmaineCharmaine Chan is an Associate Visual Effects Supervisor at Industrial Light and Magic. Originally born and raised in Hawaii, Charmaine studied at the University of California Irvine where she got a BA in Studio Art with a focus in photography and video production. Charmaine joined ILM in 2007 and with over 15 years of experience has worn many hats such as compositing, tech leading, and supervising across projects ranging from Transformers, Rango, Black Panther, Warcraft, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Charmaine has been helping innovate the Virtual Production world using real time rendering and LED screens on projects such as The Mandalorian, Andor, and the Batman. She is currently at the ILM London office supervising an upcoming sci-fi film.
