Like, that's your mother. She's supposed to protect you. I think it could be a possibility that he hated them where they were in life. I heard a story about a little boy who was abused all of his life, but had no idea about any other sort of feeling, so it was just normal. He would keep doing the same thing to this girl he kidnapped and raped. Trying to show her love... but he realized what he was doing was the stuff of nightmares
