It's National Heart Month, so we invited Dr. Neal Gaither, interventional cardiologist with Winchester Cardiology & Vascular Medicine and Valley Health to have a conversation about heart disease — its risk factors, causes, symptoms, and treatments – and what you can do to prevent and manage it. We discussed how expanded access to heart care at Warren Memorial Hospital and other Valley Health sites is making a difference in the Valley.
Dr. Gaither will be participating in the 25th annual Valley Health Community Wellness Festival that will include health screenings, learning and fun for all ages. The festival will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Apple Blossom Mall in Winchester.
Today's show kicks off a new monthly segment with Valley Health, our Community Health Partner, discussing health various health topics with experts from Valley Health's network of physicians, surgeons, program managers, and more.
