One of those things is developing a strong team and culture, especially if you're building a startup. The Oxford Handbook of Organizational Identity highlights three of the key components of a strong culture, which are:
1. The team’s view of the collective whole.
2. How individuals and teams are connected through ideas, concepts and work production.
3. How we can be valuable to our teammates.
Applying these learnings in a tactical way takes hard work. Here are three strategies you can implement with your teams to reinforce culture right away:

1. Build identity.
2. Engage in daily rituals.
3. Create artifacts.

Don spent time in the startup world as an Owner and Chief Operating Officer for Launch Leads, a marketing startup in Salt Lake City, Utah where he helped them achieve record performance in both client and revenue growth and was named to Utah Business Magazine’s Top 40 under 40 for leading businesses executives in the entire state. Prior to Launch Leads, Don spent the previous 12 years with Focus Services, helping them grow from $7M to over $45M, and into four different countries, in under five years.
