The fog (and fear) of COVID has lulled many people into a sense of security and dependence on the government, trusting our elected bureaucratic overlords to protect us from the disease. Michael calls these folks out for retreating into their cocoons, merely existing rather than living their lives. And newsflash - government can't protect you from a virus, anyway.
