The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari is dedicated to encourage listeners to embrace and deal with change in our lives. Inevitably, difficult situations will arise in life and you will want to be ready to deal with them. How we choose to manage and adapt to these obstacles can allow us to feel empowered, despite the challenges.
Our first caller Whitney is a college student and is very content pursuing her degree and enjoying being focused on her career path. She hasn’t really been in a serious relationship and her friends and family seem concerned and bring it up often. Nancy talks with her about how to direct the conversation and assures her it’s perfectly normal to feel happy being single and not to worry.
Our next caller Kalie is currently a nursing student and holds two jobs, which she needs in order to pay for her schooling. One job she is not fond of and she really dislikes going to work because she knows she will get stuck doing everyone else's work. Nancy advises her to be vocal and speak up and not be afraid to voice her concerns that are affecting her work.
Our inspirational guest, Lydia Joyner, is the perfect example of living full out. By the time Lydia was 18 years old, she had lived in 35 different homes, had 18 social workers, and had changed her name 4 times. Her difficult journey through the foster care system is truly inspiring and her courage and perseverance are a testimony to her ability to adapt and overcome change.
Our last caller Devyn has friend who is currently in an unhealthy relationship with her boyfriend and she’s always upset about it. She wants to support her but she believes her friend is at fault for the majority of their problems. She asks Nancy how she should communicate with her in a way that doesn't sound like she is attacking her. Nancy coaches her on how to effectively listen, be honest and still be a loving friend.
Adapting to, and overcoming roadblocks in life can be uncomfortable and painful, but with an attitude of acceptance, and a sense of determination, transitioning through the change can lead us to a place where we can be living full out.
