The San Francisco Giants have lost their 2012 MVP for 2020 as Buster Posey has decided to opt out of the 2020 season. This is in part due to the birth of his twin daughters. Posey's absence may leave an opening for Joey Bart although I believe Tyler Heineman will likely start the year behind the dish with Chadwick Tromp and Rob Brantly as backup options.
