Brian interviews Christian Szpilfogel. Christian is the founder and Chief investment officer of a private investment firm in Ottawa with a focus on real estate and start-up technology firms. He is an advocate for balanced rental housing policy at various levels of government including speaking as a witness at the parliamentary committee on rental housing (HUMA) in June of this year where he identified the following key causes:
The result was vacancy rates falling from 6% before 1972 to about 2% from 1975 onwards.
