Brian interviews Dave Cook. Dave is a local businessman, politician and author who developed a great interest in history. He wrote the first of four books "Apple Blossoms and Satellite Dishes" about the history of Applewood Acres, the largest subdivision built in North America by a ‘family developer” Gordon Shipp. This book was followed by a second book about the history of Mississauga’s Dixie Beehive hockey team and the Dixie Arena. His third book "Fading History Volume One", and his fourth book "Fading History Volume Two", comprising many stories of local interest. He was on Mississauga city council in 1980 and served three terms. He returned to Council of Mississauga and Peel Region in 2018.
