In a Tuesday, December 26, SEC filing, Grayscale Investments announced that Barry Silbert, the CEO of Digital Currency Group (DCG), the parent company of Grayscale, is resigning from Grayscale’s board of directors as of January 1, 2024. According to reports, the SEC is finally warming up to Bitcoin Spot ETF proposals and is expected to make a historic decision by January 10, 2024. The SEC instructed at least two firms to submit final changes by the end of this business week on December 29.
