Bisan Safi is a citizen of Gaza – the most heavily blockaded strip of land on the planet.
This episode was originally recorded after the ferocious bombing of Gaza in May 2021. Bisan, who had helped us out on The Last Brother documentary was caught right in the middle of it. The reports of the bombing were harrowing, and we were deeply concerned for our contact.
We managed to get a call through and Bisan discussed life during the 11 Days that the bombing took place, recounts the 11 days and discusses life as a young woman living inside Gaza.
