The Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates has been on the wrong side of many controversies in his long and storied career. The latest one: allegations about his relationship with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted in 2008 for soliciting prostitution from underage girls.

While it’s not clear if there is any truth to these accusations, there is talk Melinda French Gates saw the Epstein friendship as the final straw leading to the break up of her marriage.
