Ryne Ogren had a minor league career full of transitions. After being taken in the 12th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Seattle Mariners as a middle infielder, Ogren found himself being traded to the Baltimore Orioles a couple of years later and switching positions to catcher.
In this episode of Beyond Baseball, Ogren discusses how these transitions helped set him up for life after baseball and helped him to learn how to take control of his own destiny. We talk about Ogren's journey through professional baseball, what it is like to be traded, what went into his decision-making to voluntarily retire, and how he has transitioned to a life after baseball!
