Fresh into the new year, Madison La Follette was coming off of a win over defending 2019 state champion Brookfield Central. Next up was 2019's runner up, Sun Prairie. La Follette led most of the way, but Sun Prairie kept charging back, all the way until the final moments. La Follette won 83-76 to stay undefeated at the time.
