This week on “Rebel Hearts”: Kristie speaks with Bosco Büeler, swiss Architect, President and Cofounder of Aiforia Foundation (an Exhibition of Healthy, ecological and sustainable Buildings), the Vice-President of Natureplus Organization (a European Eco-Material-Label). In 2007 Bosco founded Myblueplanet to educate about Climate Protection. Bosco has lectured and consulted around the world. He is one of the co-founders of SIB (Swiss Institute for Baubiology). From 1994 - 2002 her served as the general secretary of the European+Global Network of Organizations for Environmentally-Conscious and Healthy Building. As an architect he has designed around 200 architectural projects, publishing several hundred articles in journals and newspapers and co-authored in over 30 books and brochures. Bosco shares with us about his journey of becoming an architect who focuses on sustainable building. In the face of climate change as well as other environmental pollution factors, the need for ecological building has been increasing, but many people still don't know where to start.   Bosco gives us information on how to take the first steps on making our living spaces sustainable and environmentally friendly. And not only do our building materials affect the health of the planet, they affect our own health as well.   He educates us on the effects of toxins in our homes and what we can do to make our homes healthy. He also talks about how color affects our emotional well-being and which colors to use to reduce stress and create a peaceful environment.  Learn how you change the health of our planet as well as our own health through sustainable building!
