There's a reason it's a commandment...of the don't do it kind.

I think it is possible for adultery to automatically dissolve a marriage.

One thing I wondered about is how one would classify the genres and styles used in the music of Kubrick films. Particularly, The Shining, Barry Lyndon, and Eyes Wide Shut.

That was heartbreaking, honest and made a valid case, Michele. Very good.

Okay. I'll post it here, that way you can listen to Zeph and just read it later, you know? Open Letter to Mrs. Hillary Clinton: Mrs. Clinton: I represent a group of people some two thousand strong who have been victims of/or victimized by the act of adultery. Pardon me if I don’t leave you the website as I do not wish to have it mysteriously wrecked or erased. The purpose of the site is to post places where help can obtained on everything from how to get food for your kids to legal aid and counseling. I don’t know if you realize this or not, but one of the biggest problems we face with this difficult situation are the very laws that support the person who has committed the act rather than aiding the people left crushed by it. The mothers left with children to feed and rent due while the husband is somewhere with his new lover. We have a man who was arrested for ‘abusive behavior’ so his spouse and lover could have the house to themselves. Or the gentleman, whose wife left because she decided she was a lesbian and took his house, took all of his money for herself and her lover while the man was ordered to pay her alimony in perpetuity. His only course of action left is to leave the country or continue paying on a situation that is not his fault. ‘No-Fault divorce’ causes more problems than it solves. Especially where adultery is concerned because obviously someone acted, another did not. Mental health professionals have concluded adultery to be a part of a condition called Narcisstic Personality Disorder. The individual provocateur becomes all that matters with very little thought as to the consequences his or her actions may cause anyone else. Writing letters or exploring ways of changing the laws has received very little attention simply because adultery is not considered to be a problem. We’re surrounded by it. Our culture embraces it, our celebrities live it. The lesson our politicians show us on this subject is that women should lay back and take it if a husband strays. The result being is that it is no one’s ‘fault’ that the family breaks down further, and we have more and more fatherless families in need of government aid. That’s disgusting. There is forgiveness. In modern culture sometimes it takes people two or three marriages to grow up enough that they make amends for past indiscretions’. Welcome to modern America. At least that is hopeful to see. However, because you are running for president, if you are going to be in the Oval Office, I would like to see you set an example; if you’re married, you shouldn’t cheat. And if someone does, then yes, there is fault in that. Yes, the cheater needs counseling. They don’t need to blithely act like it’s all right to take the kids into what is a potentially abusive situation. At least not until their mental state can be evaluated. If you think that sounds strict or old fashioned I would ask you to understand that I come from a perspective of ‘women and children first.’ Insisting on responsibility for one’s family should be expected, not mocked. Because there is always a fault in divorce and more often than not it is the selfishness I have described. I would like to hear you address the issue. Also, everyone in the entire world is aware of the unfortunate state of affairs in your own marriage. And I am sorry. I’m sorry that you’ve been humiliated and disgraced everywhere because of your husband. But Bill is fortunate: very few women would find his coattails worth such abuse. However, it’s left you in the poor position of seeming cold. I think it would help if you could let the world know whether the adultery has hurt you or not and how you deal with it. We need to move the culture from ‘no-fault adultery’ back to ‘don’t do adultery.’ As a potential president, your help would be appreciated.
