Local Taylorville organization "My Community My Family" held a public session on Monday evening, March 25 to release and discuss results from private testing the group did.
The testing is only a sample size of a full range of testing done by the organization to date.
Testing would take place around wells, standing water, ponds, sediment, and soil.
Organization founder Brenda Kimble expressed a primary cause of concern surrounding the findings of Toulene-d8 in well samples, which isn't safe at any amount. Kimble would express concerns about the abnormal levels of aluminum and iron in the water supply.
The other concern from Kimble is that the Aluminum and iron found in the soil are at abnormal levels.
More results are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
