ANGIE: LOST GIRLS

After being abducted into a sex trafficking ring, sixteen year-old Angie Morgan's (Jane Widdop) blissfully suburban life is upended by a living nightmare. She faces unspeakable horrors at the hands of her traffickers, finding solace only in her fellow victims and what little faith she has left. When she finally manages to escape months later, her family struggles to reconnect with a different Angie than they remember -- a woman thrust out of childhood and traumatized beyond recognition. Angie's assigned caseworker -- a former trafficking victim herself recognizes Angie’s survivor’s guilt about the girls left behind need to get her self esteem back and urges her to
speak out and help shut down the ring for good, but the threat of re-abduction and violence against Angie's loved ones is constantly looming. Despite her suffocating fear, will Angie stop running and face her past head-on, or are she -- and the girls she left behind -- lost completely?
