Hour 1, segment 1:- Mike gets the hour going with some common sense.

America was born because people wanted to be free.

As ever, it would be in our best interest to look at EVERYTHING Alberta has to offer toward everything that has always made America great.

In the same spirit of America's birth, Alberta will be reborn as a state.

Peter Downing joins the program today to discuss the new Alberta Statehood Party.

This is quite exciting.

It's a great position to be in, with a very simple agenda. Albertans would get a chance to select their own system of government.

Peter elaborates on mutual benefits from Alberta statehood.

He mentions that Americans say that Alberta+Texas beats OPEC.

Lots of truth in that.

Albertans must realize fully what it means to them for Alberta to be a state.

When the day comes that the majority opinion is strongly inclined toward statehood, nothing can hold Alberta statehood back.

It is the only option that makes sense, but Peter points out that there mustn't be complacency. Where there's lots of chiefs in the movement, there must be hordes of Indians.

What a blessing that there is now a political party which is pointed toward the auspicious goal of Alberta becoming a state.

The coppers could've cared less, and clapped the cuffs on him. The poor man had what appeared to be a heart attack, so they mercifully removed the cuffs so he could take his heart medication.

Yes. They almost induced a heart attack in this man, over his lack of wearing a piece of useless cloth on his face.

A shooting in Red Deer county has left one man dead, after an attempted home break in.

The RCMP said there is no further danger to the public.

One question though.

Why was the homeowner using his own gun, which should be locked up, and not being charged by the RCMP?

The editor of a top German newspaper apologizes for stoking fear over Covid.

The editor-in-chief of Germany’s top newspaper Bild has apologized for the news outlet’s fear-driven coverage of COVID, specifically to children who were told “that they were going to murder their grandma.”
In a speech delivered to camera, Julian Reichelt said sorry for Bild’s coverage which was “like poison” and “made you feel like you were a mortal danger to society.”
