This week we will continue to explore what it means to be a child of God.
When we look at Galatians 4: 4-9 we are exposed to a series of ideas that should make the believer rejoice to God for such a marvelous strategy as it relates to our position in him.
”When the fullness of time come, God sent forth his Son...”
Paul begins this talk concerning, us as the adopted children of His, by pointing to a Son that was sent forth. This ”sent forth” Son is Christ. He is made of women and under the law. The words ”made of a woman” validates His humanity, even though He was still yet the Son of God.
As Son, Christ has access to all that His Father has, and this is what makes the doctrine of adoption, the pinnacle position for every believer.
