Mental Health has recently gained popularity with ISoc’s across the UK and Ireland. Depression and anxiety are among the most common issues discussed; however, there are issues which are more traumatic, and surprisingly prevalent, that Muslims students suffer from, both brothers and sisters.
Among these are issues of sexual harassment and abuse and consequently the infectious diseases and PTSD that follows. This podcast will endeavour to shed some light on these issues and how one can reach out to people affected and offer counsel and comfort.
