On October 7, 2020, the Federalist Society's Connecticut Lawyers Chapter hosted a webinar panel on "Absentee Balloting in Connecticut."
For the November 3, 2020 election, the state legislature passed Public Act 20-03 July Special Session, allowing, in light of the coronavirus, all voters to vote by absentee ballot if they so choose. Our panelists will discuss the law surrounding absentee balloting, recent political and legal developments with respect thereto, and practical considerations when implementing "no excuse" absentee balloting in Connecticut, including lessons learned from this August's primary election.
Featuring:

Senator Leonard A. Fasano, Republican Minority Leader (34th District) and Partner at Fasano, Ippolito, Lee & Florentine, LLC
Proloy K. Das, Partner, Murtha Cullina LLP - Appellate and Election Litigation
Fred DeCaro III, Republican Registrar of Voters, Greenwich
Moderator: Joshua A. Esses, Co-President, Connecticut Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society
