If you filter everything that happens to you through, God is good and God loves me, you are going to be a much more peaceful person. Even when the plans that you had for your own life blow up in your face and you're sitting in the wreckage, you'll remember that God has a plan. And He uses all of it, all the good, all the bad, all the ugly for our good and His glory.
