Today Dan shares the rest of his story and what finally changed his beliefs. He gives his advice for men and women who are also wrestling through this weighty topic. Liz also shares her advice to women who are in Complementarian circles but are finding themselves the odd man out.
Pastor/Podcaster/Teacher Dan Chambers (Sara’s husband) is sharing his story of coming out of Complementarianism doctrine (belief that gender roles are Biblical and that women submit to men) into Egalitarianism (belief that roles are based on gifting not gender and both genders mutually submit to each other). This journey was messy, it took a lot of conversations *ahem, arguments*, and Dan shares what his struggles were along the way and the new way he views God’s design for men and women.
