Last point to this subject: All together 3 + 4 +5 together are the so called "Pythagorean right angled triangle" you can even dram it on paper 😃 (Sides: 3cm, 4cm, 5cm (hypotenuse))

some call the trivium and quadrivium together the 7 Liberal Arts. Depends on the source you have to hand.

So you need (5) the senses to grasp, learn and know the Trivium (3), to then get into the Quadrivium (4+) liberal arts.

Trivium (3): Grammatic, Rethoric, Logic : => Logos (Truth) Quadtrivium (4): Arithmetic (study of numbers); - Geometry (Aestetics; Geography and Natural History); - Music & Arts (Music Theory); - Astronomie/Astrology (and some more, depend on the source you have; Psychology, Philosophy,...) Senses (5): Instruments of knowledge; to know our surroundings and so called reality
