During their 30 day stay in orbit the crew conducted a range of experiments testing equipment needed for China’s planned new space station – the first core module of which is slated for launch in 2018. *Atlas V being reconfigured for Starliner missions The United Launch Alliance have reconfigured their Atlas V 421 launch vehicle to handle Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner capsule which will transport crew to the International Space Station.
