Walaakum salaam I don't think people will ever grasp the importance of ebaadah without the proper understanding of Allah's Names and Attributes. Being that our leader alayhe salaam taught (At-Tawheed), for years... this should be a vital importance after the shahaada. Applying any other science in this deen is fruitless without understand who one's Lord is. I often wonder if this is a missing element that contributes to the disfunction of our umma. We MUST understand His Names in order to help us to understand His Greatness. A lesson in this would be very strong. Allahu Yafudukum. May Allah make it Extremely Heavy on the teachers scale. Ameen.
