We want this to be the most valuable resource you have for finance as a musician. But more than that, we want you to feel motivated, energized and even pumped up to follow through with the calling that even lands you here, with us. It’s easy to forget that you started this journey a long time ago. Even if this still feels like the beginning of your journey in the “business,” it still likely started a while back when you strummed your first chord or played your first recital or heard that song that made your heart beat out of control. We are all here, and stay here for the same reason. The calling to do something that feels meaningful. Our own movement. Life is as limitless as you let it be, so is your art… and income if you have the right mindset. Damn, we can feel so boxed in, so limited sometimes in the thick of it. But we are both, Dave and I, living proof along with thousands of our fellow musicians who have met and exceeded their own acceptance of what the pursuit of being a musician for a living could bring.

Remember… you are your biggest limitation. Your mindset and its limits are your greatest challenge to overcome.

Before I start preaching let's get to the point of this episode and catch up and give you as best an outline of what’s to come as we can.

This season is our most focused yet. As often occurs with constant effort, our understanding of what our role is in our community is becoming clearer and we want to do everything we can to help make you a success. That’s why this season is filled with our biggest guests yet, full of success and yet they could be your neighbor. We are asking the questions that you really want to know. Things like “how did you do that” and “how does that work exactly….” But even more, it's a season full of realizations. that wherever you are right now in your journey, you are closer than you think to getting that next big check, that next big opportunity and that the distance between them might just be a simple action that we hope to bring to light.
