I just had a really annoying conversation with someone - who shall remain nameless but is a fellow musician - who didn't seem to notice I was on the end of the phone.... just talked and talked and talked. This made me wonder 'what makes a really good conversation?' and 'do we have it all wrong?' along with 'how do I interject without interrupting??' It also made me wonder if I was invisible or, worse yet, irrelevant. Not a good feeling. I bet you know what I mean ;)
