I learnt a lot about the history of the event, how geopolitics influences the event depending on what's happening in Europe and then we talk about why Eurovision is meaningful to Dec, as well as how it has influenced him throughout his life. I learnt that Eurovision is sometimes known as "The Gay Olympics" which I found just delightful, most likely doing a follow up podcast with Dec about it!
