The state rests its case in the ongoing lawsuit against two opioid drug companies in Charleston. There was a stabbing overnight near the Marshall campus and a man is struck and killed by a train in Cabell County. West Virginia Congressmen Alex Mooney and David McKinley meet face to face on MetroNews Talkline to debate issues ahead of their primary election face-off on Tuesday. Skilled firefighters were able to rescue a woman who had gotten herself stranded on the underside of a bridge over the Kanawha River Thursday and funeral arrangements are set for next week for a Braxton County fireman killed in the line of duty.
