Oggi sono andata al mercato per vedere se trovavo del pesce. Cagliari ha un bellissimo mercato il mercato di San Benedetto, ha due piani, al primo piano ci sono le verdure, la carne, la frutta, i formaggi, il pane, invece al piano di sotto c'è il pesce.

A me piace tantissimo andare al mercato del pesce perché mi piace mangiare pesce e poi perché questa parte del mercato ancora ha mantenuto... È un po' come me la ricordo quando ero bambina e alcune delle persone che vendono il pesce, soprattutto nella parte che si chiama 'piccola pesca', dove ci sono i pescatori che vanno loro, cioè non lo comprano al mercato all'ingrosso, ecco, soprattutto lì ci sono delle persone che vendono pesce che hanno più o meno la mia età e io mi ricordo quando ero bambina e accompagnavo mamma al mercato e c'erano i genitori, c'era il papà di quello che adesso vende il pesce nella 'piccola pesca', quindi un po' anche c'è questa specie di passaggio di consegne delle generazioni.

Oggi sono andata al mercato, di solito non vado il sabato perché c'è troppa gente, soprattutto troppi turisti che si fermano a fare le fotografie, e... sì, e mentre passavo così c'era un sacco di gente, quindi ci si spingeva un po', così come si fa al mercato, ho sfiorato questo gruppo di persone e così ho sentito quello che dicevano, e c'era un signore con un fortissimo accento milanese che diceva "ah! ma visto qua come costa tutto poco, compro tutto ah! ah! ah!".

Io sono rimasta un po così perché per le persone che abitano a Cagliari vi assicuro che le cose non costano poco. Perché sì... c'è gente che vive di una piccola pensione, soprattutto le persone anziane, anche le persone che lavorano, che guadagnano poco oppure lavorano e non vengono pagate.

Non lo so, la cosa... Forse è anche questo accento milanese che mi ha un po' irritato. Mi sono girata e ho guardato il signore, lui ha guardato me e ci siamo guardati, però io non ho detto niente, poi ho continuato per la mia strada.

La cosa mi ha disturbato. Forse sono anche un po' protettiva nei confronti della mia città, del mio mercato, io quando vado fuori cerco di non intralciare la vita dei locals, ad esempio quando sono andata in Giappone, e anche poi ci tornerò, non vado al mercato del pesce la mattina presto perché so che le persone che lavorano lì ne hanno le tasche piene dei turisti in mezzo ai piedi, che fanno le foto.
