In Finlandia ogni anno si svolge il campionato dei cavallucci di legno e arriva gente da tutto il mondo per cavalcare il bastone ed esibirsi nelle stesse specialità praticate nell'equitazione con cavallo in carne e ossa.

Come funziona? Allora funziona che queste ragazze arrivano con il loro cavalluccio di legno, proprio come ve lo immaginate, col bastone di legno, e poi la testa che è di materiale morbido, e naturalmente anche i cavalli vengono vestiti, quindi con le trecce, i colori diversi, le briglie, quindi poi si mettono il bastone in mezzo alle gambe e camminano con le loro gambe, però fanno tutta una serie di attività così come si fa quando si va a cavallo.

I've seen videos, it's a lot of fun also because there is actually an athletic effort, think about having to jump over an obstacle and doing it while holding a stick between your legs.
