when I was in actual combat in Iraq, we would take fire first. There was never a time that I couldn’t rack a round into the chamber. If that would have happened I would have been dead already.

I don’t like to carry with a loaded chamber. Some will tell you this is a Sin and that you should not carry if you don’t do it with a loaded chamber. I disagree. If you train to rack a round as you draw your weapon, it is essentially the same thing.
