It might not be strictly speaking a videogame related story, but the Star Wars saga casts a significant enough shadow upon our medium of choice that the announcement of the Episode VII cast is sure to have an impact on the gaming landscape for years to come. At the very least we’ll be getting some ‘in-cannon’ entries from EA, whose 10 year exclusivity deal with Disney will benefit from the genius of one Amy Hennig, who until recently was responsible the Uncharted series - who better to capture the spirit of the original trilogy ...and perhaps the new movies too? Assuming JJ gets it… and well… we all saw Lost didn’t we? As far as actual videogame news goes, we do have some of that too… including our impressions on recently released gameplay footage from Watch Dogs, Evolve and Dragon Age: Inquisition, the internet’s verdict on The Elder Scrolls Online and a progress report on the kickstarter campaign for the Bladerunner-esque VR adventure, Technolust.
