With chapter 7 we begin Volume 2 of the book. At the outset Muhaddith Noori (ra) mentions about more that 250 people who have met Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s) as reported by Shaikh Saduq(ar). He then goes on to mention in detail about 100 additional incidents of meeting Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s) in the major occultation. For the sake of brevity we will just mention 5 of these incidences.

*1. Ismail bin Hasan Harqali is cured by Imam (a.s.)* [Incident 5 of chapter 7]

Ismail started suffering from a huge abscess on his left thigh. He used to loose a lot of blood from it and it affected his performance of daily prayers. He met Sayyid Raziuddin Ibne Taaoos(a.r.), who was the most eminent scholar of the Shia during those days.

Sayyid Raziuddin called all the physicians of Hilla and sought their advice. They suggested that the only possible cure was the amputation of the abscessed limb but even that carried a great risk of severance of some vital veins.

He then went to Baghdad and spent all his fortune seeking medical advise from Royal physicians.

In abject penury he then went to Samarrah to seek help of Imam e Zamana (atfs). When he was leaving Samarrah, he took a bath to go and bid adieu to the Imams (as). On the way to the Haram he met Hazrat Mahdi (a.t.f.s) who pressed his abscess and he was completely cured.

The news of this miraculous cure spread far and wide. Even the royal physicians who had previously examined him were surprised by the absence of any sign of the abscess.

His son, Shamsuddin narrates:

_"After this incident, my father used to remain very sorrowful due to the separation. He used to go and stay in Baghdad during the whole of winter and travel to Samarrah and perform the Ziyarat."_

Likewise he performed 40 Ziyarats of Samarrah in his lifetime in the hope of meeting Hazrat Mahdi (a.t.f.s) once again.
