If you feel like pretty much every Wisconsin team for the past decade or so has been pretty similar, you're not wrong. Sometimes the Badgers are a little better, sometimes they're a little worse, but they're one of college football's most consistent programs.

The 2021 Wisconsin football team looks like it may be one of the better versions of those Badger teams. With a veteran offensive line, solid running back, talented wide receiver corps, and proven defense, there's reason to think this could be the year they finally break through and win the conference for the first time since 2012.

The big questions are at quarterback, where talented but young Graham Mertz has to take the next step in his development, and a brutal early-season schedule.
