It is that time again for our annual celebration of African-American, as well as performances from the African diaspora, as we present the 17th Annual Black Reel Awards. Launched in 2000, the Black Reel Awards have awarded over 1,000 nominees and 400 winners in independent, feature, and television film. This year, the awards will introduce several new categories, including World Cinema, as they honor the best in Black cinema across the globe.
