Jimmy Hoffa was an American labor union organizer in the 1930s who later went on to become the president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters from 1957 to 1971.
On July 30, 1975, Hoffa left his Detroit to attend a meeting in Bloomfield Township. His car was found abandoned in a restaurant parking lot the next day, and Jimmy Hoffa was never seen again.
