9 days! That is all we have left until baseball is back. I hope you all are excited because we sure are, and while Free Agency is still widely stagnant, one team has been making splashes in an effort to exert early control over their division.
The Milwaukee Brewers signed OF Lorenzo Cain to a 5-year deal the same day they acquired OF Christian Yelich from the Miami Marlins. This gives the Brew Crew one of the deepest outfields we have seen in years with the likes of Braun and Thames, along with Keon Broxton, already in Milwaukee before Cain and Yelich arrived. Do these moves give the Brewers the edge in the NL Central early?

The Baltimore Orioles have announced that Manny Machado will move back to shortstop this season, a postion where he has played less than 60 career games. While the O's say that Tim Beckham will become their starting hot corner man, they could still make a move for Mike Moustakas or Todd Frazier. What does this move mean for Machado and his future with the ball club?

Four new men have been inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame by the BBWAA. Chipper Jones and Jim Thome made it on their first year of eligibility with Vladimir Guerrero and Trevor Hoffman following in their second and third years respectively. Congratulations to these four deserving players. Which players came close, who is being snubbed, and who is eligible next year?

Finally, the Cleveland Indians have decided that, starting in 2019, they will stop using the depiction of Chief Wahoo on their jerseys starting in 2019. Some say it is another casualty of the political correct culture of today's society, others say it is high time that the caricature be removed due to its racist beginnings. Graham offers a compromise that might be just the middle ground both sides needed.
