Wearing a half-cut beard has been the norm for Jimmy Halfcut for the past five years.
Why you ask?
Because the semi-shaven Aussie is on a conservation quest to spread awareness, and he wants you to know that half of the world’s rainforests have been cut down.
Activist and co-founder of HalfCut Org, Jimmy joins me on the podcast this week to talk about the current climate conversation Down Under and what his organization is doing to help mitigate climate change and protect our future.
HalfCut Org is a peer to peer, social and environmental movement that engages all people to raise funds for forest regeneration and conversation. We create visual disruption by wearing a Halfcut look to start conversations about conservation.
The Australian based organization aims to protect crucial forest habitats for threatened and endangered species, protect Traditional Owners land titles, start mass tree planting projects to ultimately be part of the solution to the growing climate emergency, ensuring a safe future for all species on Earth.
