*Some distinctive Qualities of Imam Zamana (a.s.)*
We continue with the description of 12 distinguishing characteristics of Imam Mahdi (atfs) out of the 48 special characteristics mentioned about him in this chapter.
*4-Needlessness of the people from the Sun and Moon*
In Ghaibat of Fazl bin Shaazaan, the following is narrated from the Holy Imams:
"When our Qaaem rises, the earth will be lighted up with his light and will make the people needless of the light of the Sun and darkness will be dispelled"
The report further states that "The earth will throw up its treasures till people see it on its surface. A person from you would look out for someone to give Zakat to, but he will not find any such man as all would be needless due to the blessings of Allah."
*5-He would be having the standard of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) which except for the Battle of Badr and Jamal has not been unfurled*
Shaykh Nomani has narrated from Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) that he said in a report: "It is the banner of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) that Jibraeel has brought (from the Heaven) on the day of Badr. It is not of cotton, flax or silk." When the narrator enquired from him about the material of the banner, He said: “It is made of the leaves of Paradise." He further mentioned that, "The Prophet (s.a.w.a.) unfurled it on the day of Badr and then folded it and gave it to Ali Ibne Abi Talib (a.s.). It was with Imam Ali (a.s.) until he unfurled it out on the day of the battle of Jamal against the people of Basra and gained victory. Then he folded it and kept it safe. It is with us and no one will unfurl it till the Qaaem (a.s.) appears. When he appears, he will unfurl it.”
*6-The armor of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) will not fit anyone, except Imam Zamana (a.s.)*
It is narrated in Basaaerud Darajaat from Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) that after the description of the heirloom of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.), which is in their possession, he said: Our Qaaem is one that when he puts on the armor of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) it will fit him perfectly.
