Like that 80s Mac Davis song, it sure is hard to be humble. We really enjoy telling people how great we are. We brag about our work, our love life, our cars, our kids - we do enjoy that feeling of pride. And it sure does help our self-esteem!
But God says that's not right.
Greatness comes from service, and service comes from humility.
Remember our Lord’s words to us:
"For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
