🌍 Sometimes, in the rays of morning dawn or evening twilight, you can see a very bright star. Also called the "Shepherd Star" and representing the brightest object in the sky after the Sun and the Moon, the planet Venus takes its name from the Roman goddess of love, beauty and fertility.
For a long time, and before the beginning of space flights, it was impossible to see the surface of our closest space "neighbor". Behind the cloud cover of "the veiled planet" lies a mysterious world whose mysteries are still far from being solved!

🔥 As a reminder, the videos are published on SUNDAYS at 6:00 PM.

💥 TRACES OF LIFE ON VENUS:
- The planet Venus, this "cloudy world that hides its face" is awash with mysteries. Indeed, very little knowledge is confirmed by researchers, the certainties have left room for assumptions. The reason is mainly due to its dense atmosphere, representing an impassable barrier for the observers who cannot see the surface of Venus through the current telescopes.

Astronomers believe that the Earth and Venus were formed in the same region of the protoplanetary disk, from the same material, but their development then took place in a different way.
The Earth is enveloped in an atmosphere that contains nearly 20% oxygen, a moderate greenhouse effect and the presence of oceans make the conditions on the surface comfortable for life to flourish. On the contrary, Venus is surrounded by a shell of carbon dioxide, its surface has extreme temperatures of nearly 500 ° C because of the giant greenhouse effect, with a pressure 90 times greater than its terrestrial neighbor. All questions about the habitability of Venus are based on the question of the existence of liquid water on it.

At the initial stage of its existence, Venus looked very much like the Earth. Although there is no water on Venus today, the situation was different in the past. In 2009, with the help of the probe "Venus Express", evidence was obtained that the atmosphere of Venus had lost a large amount of water due to solar radiation.
However, this does not mean that an ocean never existed on Venus, because, as simulations show, water was mainly contained in the atmosphere in the form of vapor and was present in large quantities only at an early stage of the planet's existence. Thus, the primordial ocean of Venus could have existed for more than 2 billion years, that is to say more than half of the history of the planet, after which it is possible to ask the question of the existence of life!
However, something happened to Venus, a kind of catastrophe of which scientists still have no idea, after which it turned into hell!

Our planet and Venus are at first sight very similar in size and mass. They have almost the same age, about 4.5 billion years. It seems that nothing prevented life to be born not only on Earth, but also on Venus.
The possibility that life could exist on the surface of the present Venus is incredibly low. An average surface temperature above 400℃ means that it is impossible to find liquid water there and this heat would also destroy most organic molecules.
In addition, pale yellow clouds float in the Venusian sky, which, as studies have shown, consist mainly of tiny droplets of sulfuric acid that, like terrestrial rains, fall on the surface of Venus, the only difference being that these rains are destructive to all living forms!
But the upper atmosphere of Venus, softer, has temperatures low enough for water droplets to form and could therefore potentially be suitable for the formation of life.
