We all want to make an impact. To feel like our efforts have some positive effect on our surroundings. We want to feel purposeful in our pursues and we want to help others achieve success in theirs. But many times, our approach has he opposite effect. Instead of initiating change, we encourage resistance because we approach situations from our perspective instead of trying to understand the other person's viewpoint.
